EMSA will firstly develop cooperation between two European Countries, namely Greece and Cyprus, and three Third Countries not associated with the Programme, namely Jordan, Egypt and Palestine. Through this cooperation the partners in the consortium will jointly develop and pilot test training programmes on “Key competences of ERF” and well as the “ENTRECOMP competences” and will also validate the competences the learners will have developed.
EMSA focuses on two important European models: ERF (2018) that emphasizes 8 key competences for everyone to live and work in Europe and ENTRECOMP that emphasizes the development of the 15 competences composing the entrepreneurial mindset. Therefore, the link of VET profiles of the project partners to European Union actions and strategies will be increased and consequently coherence will also be increased. EMSA will increase the capacity of all VET providers involved in the field of internationalization as this cooperation could be the beginning of different types of cooperation.
The project will improve the pedagogical skills of teachers of VET providers both through the use of new competence frameworks, but also through the co-training with other trainers. Synchronous electronic learning will support trainers in the development of their technical skills.
Last but not least, the level of competences and skills and especially employability skills of learners involved in the project will be improved, as they will acquire the skills and competences defined by ERF as well as the entrepreneurial mindset competences defined by ENTRECOMP.
